About Us

Built from the delivery side of the spa industry

Before Spas Online Australia sold spas, the experience behind the business was already moving, installing, servicing, repairing and refurbishing them.

Our background is in specialist spa and swim spa logistics — delivering, relocating and positioning spas in Australian homes and backyards.

Working across the industry has given us an unusually practical understanding of spas. We have handled products supplied by major Australian spa retailers, worked with different manufacturers and designs, and dealt with the challenges that only become apparent when a spa leaves the showroom or warehouse and has to be delivered into the real world.

That experience has taught us what works, what doesn't, and where things can be done better. Spas Online Australia brings that knowledge upstream into spa retail.

The experience behind the business

Spa logistics experience behind the business

Fabian Windrich is a highly experienced Australian spa logistics specialist and Senior Representative of Spa Removal Experts Australia.

His specialist area is the technical movement, relocation and delivery of spas and swim spas, including difficult-access jobs requiring solutions beyond conventional spa delivery.

His experience comes from working hands-on with spas in real-world environments — understanding their construction, weight distribution, access requirements, handling characteristics and the practical challenges involved in getting large spas safely into position.

This includes specialist vertical swim spa movements, where suitable large swim spas can be transported and manoeuvred vertically when conventional horizontal access is not possible. That technical logistics experience is part of the knowledge behind Spas Online Australia.

Technical spa moves

When a spa delivery isn't simple

Some spa deliveries are straightforward. Others aren't.

Restricted side access, retaining walls, narrow pathways, elevated properties, decking, cranes and oversized swim spas can turn delivery into a technical logistics exercise. Our background includes solving these types of problems.

One specialist capability developed through this experience is the vertical movement of suitable swim spas — allowing certain large swim spas to be manoeuvred through access situations where conventional horizontal handling may not be possible.

This practical knowledge means we think about delivery and access before the spa arrives — not after.

Industry experience

We've seen spas from the other side

Working in spa logistics means seeing products differently.

Our experience has included delivering and handling spas for major retailers across the industry. We have seen different cabinet structures, bases, shells, equipment layouts, pumps, control systems and approaches to construction. More importantly, we have seen what happens after a spa leaves the showroom.

Spas Online Australia uses that practical knowledge to help us select products, improve specifications where appropriate, think carefully about serviceability and make delivery part of the product decision from the beginning.

Second-hand to brand-new

From refurbishing spas to selecting new ones

For years, our experience also included acquiring, refurbishing and selling second-hand spas to the Australian public.

That taught us something particularly valuable: what spas look like after years of actual ownership.

When you refurbish used spas, you don't just see the features customers see in a showroom. You see underneath them.

You see the pumps, plumbing, control systems, heaters, frames, bases and equipment compartments. You find the problems. You diagnose failures. You replace components. And you learn which design decisions make a spa easier to maintain and repair over its lifetime.

After years of delivering, relocating, installing, maintaining, repairing, refurbishing and reselling spas, we are taking the next step — bringing a range of brand-new spas to the Australian public. The products may be new, but the knowledge behind selecting and supporting them has been built over years of hands-on experience.

Spa refurbishment and repairs

That experience built a practical understanding of:

  • How different spas age
  • Common equipment failures
  • Component quality
  • Serviceability
  • Equipment access
  • Plumbing and construction
  • Repairability
  • Parts requirements
  • What matters for long-term spa ownership

Fabian is a Senior Representative of Spa Removal Experts Australia, a national alliance of specialist spa delivery and relocation teams.

The network brings together experienced spa logistics operators across Australia, providing specialist knowledge around spa handling, relocation and delivery.

This gives Spas Online Australia access to something unusual for an online spa retailer: a business model where specialist spa logistics is part of the operation rather than simply being outsourced as an afterthought.

Vertical integration

From delivery to retail

After years of working across the delivery, installation, servicing and refurbishment side of the industry, moving into spa retail was a natural progression.

The complete spa lifecycle

  1. 1Specialist spa delivery and relocation
  2. 2Difficult and technical spa and swim spa movements
  3. 3Site preparation and complete installation experience
  4. 4Electrical connection coordination
  5. 5Safety barriers, permits and approvals
  6. 6Maintenance, servicing, diagnostics and repairs
  7. 7Refurbishment and resale of second-hand spas
  8. 8Seeing how spas and components perform as they age
  9. 9Applying all of that knowledge to selecting brand-new spas
  10. 10Bringing that selected range to Australian customers

Rather than treating delivery as the final step in an online transaction, we consider the complete journey — product selection, purchase, access, logistics, delivery and ongoing ownership.
